The photographic creation is done with unique photographic equipment, techniques and image stocks and always with an understanding of the wider context of the project. With many years of experience in the art of photography, I often use a portable studio to generate unique results, while maintaining low production costs.

bio
With academic education in photography, marketing communications and web development, combined with a worldview developed through many lives lived in the arts and culture world, as an independent photographer, fine art printer, exhibition developer, musical producer and an amateur tour guide, Yaal brings to the table a practical and creative approach.
Yaal’s extensive communications background is based on his experience in the military, as a radioman in an IDF infantry unit, then serving in the IDF as liaison to UN forces, in the Army Radio (Galats) and in the IDF Spokesperson Unit, where he directs multimedia-web productions.
Born 1973 in a northern Israeli kibbutz, and married to Betty. They share their time between home in Jerusalem and long non-winter stays in Montreal, with their children.
